Don’t Put Chemicals On Your Body. Keep Them Out of Your Environment.

The ‘personal care’ (what a misnomer) industry is a huge industry – probably in the trillions of dollars. It pushes chemicals on people in many ways. It pushes products on people which include things like soaps, shampoos, conditioners, skin ‘care’ products, lotions, and makeup (a.k.a. ‘beauty’).

All of this stuff is garbage. It is worse than garbage (garbage itself should be healthy – the waste humans generate should always be pure). It’s toxic. You should never buy it and you should never use any of it.

Here’s one simple rule: Never put anything on your body that you would not eat and which you would not want a young child to eat or a pet or any animal. It’s that simple.

These chemical products encroach into people’s live insidiously. People are bombarded with the messages everywhere that using all these chemical products is not just acceptable but also good. It isn’t good. And supporting the industry which creates all this isn’t good.

You need to align yourself with Earth and with nature. Your body and nature are infinitely more wise and healthy than all these unnecessary and toxic chemicals.

Human skin produces sebum which is more precious than the most expensive skin and hair care products. It contains waxy compounds, oils, and other components which protect and moisturize hair and skin.

If you have buildup of sebum, for example on your scalp after sweating during a workout, all you need to do is wet your fingers and run them through your hair to disperse the sebum along the hair shafts. Any excess amount on your fingers you can apply to other areas of your body including your face an hands. Sebum is also excellent for chapped lips and better than the most expensive lip balms.

Everyone has been fed a lie from birth that sebum a.k.a. ‘dirt’ or ‘oil’ is bad. That’s a straight-up lie told to you by bad people who want to get you addicted to bad things.

Even ‘natural’ products can be harmful to Earth. Think about products that are marketed and contain extracts of plants. Just so someone can put something on their body out of vanity often a large number of plants have to be farmed and harvested. That process is not necessarily ecological. It’s always better to use less, to consume less, to rely on your body’s own great wisdom.

People get sucked into using all these chemicals and consuming all these products as though it’s normal. And that mindset then infects other parts of people’s lives in adverse ways. Often that mindset transfers to other things in terms of how people think and behave towards themselves and others which are not healthy. It creates a mindset of expect demands to be fulfilled and not learning how to be self-reliant and to limit one’s desires.

People are coddled to, and hyper-sensitivity is inculcated however that’s just encouraging weakness and lack of resiliency when true growth means becoming less hyper-sensitive and more resilient in life. Then products are marketed at people to cater to their perceived needs but the end result is less happiness and satisfaction. Resiliency and training oneself breeds strength and self-reliance, which is infinitely more valuable than anything a person can acquire materially.

Get rid of all your toxic products. I recommend to dispose of them in an ecologically-friendly manner. Often that is not an option. One thing you can do is rinse the products down your kitchen sink with lots and lots of water and be sure to rinse out the containers before recycling them.

If you do this I guarantee you will be surprised at just how toxic these products you own are. And once they are gone you will feel a lot better. Those chemicals will never be in your environment again. Never allow them on your body again and never be responsible for introducing these chemicals into the environment again.

People like to focus on environmentalism as though it’s an external thing. We can look at past ecologically catastrophic occurrences in recent human history and think how bad they are, but part of that catastrophe is with us right now if we accept toxic and harmful things into our life.

Just as society must learn to grow and heal from past ecological mistakes and devastation, so you as a human being must also heal your life and your world. Start by cleaning out all those nasty chemical products from your life. They’re not fulfilling real needs. They don’t make you beautiful nor clean nor care for you in any way. The most beautiful and healthy you can be is always natural, in harmony with nature and self-reliant.
