Always Remember the Highest State

I don’t have the time right now to post the complete concept right now. But I want to write an important message.

In my life I’ve witnessed many things. I’ve seen people involved in self-destructive behaviors. I’ve seen drug addicts injecting themselves and smoking terrible things, or snorting terrible things. I’ve seen behaviors such as sexual behaviors that were gluttonous an abusive towards self and others. And of course many people are familiar with excesses of drinking and eating, or consuming foods that are unhealthy. And of course there’s alcohol – a destructive, sick chemical that no one should consume (ok maybe a little bit of pils made in a monastery or something every now and then is alright).

There’s one common factor among all these forms of destruction: A failure to recognize the highest state. Let’s take drugs as an example.
People become addicted to drugs in order to chase after a state of pleasure. Pleasure is a state of the body – especially of the mind. It occurs when the pleasure centers of the brain are stimulated. So basically what a person is chasing when taking drugs is stimulation of pleasure centers in the brain.

But activation of the pleasure centers of the brain is something that can and should be achieved in a healthy, non-destructive manner. That achievement of pleasure in the most healthy, non-destructive manner leads to the highest state of pleasure that the human brain is capable of experiencing. There is no mystery about this.

What it takes for a human being to achieve the highest state of pleasure with their body is not a mystery. It always goes back to the basics which involve caring for the body. Caring for the body is also not something divorced from caring for the world around oneself, since ultimately they are the same.

So there really is a maximal state of pleasure that can be attained for a human being, and this way involves a well-understood pathway that involves caring, discipline, practice, patience, etc. There’s nothing mysterious about this. Nothing hidden.

So why don’t people achieve it? Why instead to they seek to achieve a state of pleasure and happiness that involves destruction? Because they don’t understand the path to achieving true happiness. And that’s sad.

But right now we have this serious disease occurring in our society not just in terms of the usage of drugs or in terms of eating harmful foods or consuming harmful products, but it also occurs in terms of sexuality.

Just like with pleasure and the human brain, humans can attain the highest state of sexual and relationship happiness. And just like with other forms of achieving happiness, there is a highest state for a human being.

That highest state involves finding one person who you deeply love. All a human being needs for the highest state of sexual and relationship happiness, a state that is in harmony with the self, others, and the environment, is to find one partner who you deeply love.

But that is not the message being sent to people right now by an evil society that emphasizes gluttony, intemperance, and selfishness.

Understanding the highest states of happiness, pleasure, and health for a human being gives one a clear focus, prevents a person from wasting energy, and protects a person from many types of evil and harm. But this wisdom is not what is being taught and promoted and the result is a sick society and many broken lives.
