Temples

Sometimes I wonder if that longing feeling, that yearning I sometimes get, is because it is in my genetic memory from ancient times that we had glorious temples where we would celebrate for days, dancing and feasting and laughing and loving.

Imagine that that’s why all those ancient temples were built. As natural outpourings of that deep yearning in our people. The temples are the places we would naturally go to fill that yearning. They were the place we were always welcome. The place of healing and unity.

Look at these beautiful ancient temples many of which still stand today:

Now imagine, as you were approaching this mystical, inspiring, magical place, hearing this music:

I imagine classical music originating from this type of music. Eventually developing into grandiloquent baroque music that still has a primal, lyrical quality.

Why did music lose its greatness? When did music become reduced to ‘rock and roll’ and so many other depraved forms which sadly are celebrated and relished by masses?

(The entire suite above is mind-blowing but be sure to listen to the gigue at 14’10”)

When we lost our great temples I think we began to lose ourselves. When we built great temples for the gods we were the gods.

Look at these structures. If someone asked you what would it look like if divine beings existed on Earth and built structures, these magnificent temples are exactly what you would think of.

They aren’t made from synthetic, toxic materials that involve abusing Earth. They are made from natural stone, lovingly shaped by human hands into embodiments of transcendent beauty.

When you feel that deep longing inside, alone in your room, instead of feeling sad, know that that yearning is because that is the call your ancestors felt in ancient times that brought them to the temple, to build temples, and to celebrate with one another together under the heavens, with the gods.

Those experiences were so powerful they left a trace in you.

Don’t let anyone abuse you or use you because of it. Stay pure and true to the ancient temples.
